Like any other Startup, we(1search.co) go through our set of challenges like product-market fit, technical debt and limitations, work-life balance, schedules, talent acquisition, and revenue generation, and it is a never-ending list. It requires dynamism, confronting an ever-changing world of challenges while testing our persistence at every step.

But one thing that favors us is how we evolved as a 'CRACK Team.' This is our strength, and today it's our culture. Right from Marketing to Technology to Operations, we are the do-it-all Team, cracking solutions to any business problem at hand.

Perseverance

We operate in a high-pressure work environment, and our Team doesn't hesitate to sweat extra hours (call it early in the morning at 6 am or late in the night at 1 am) to hit a service deliverable or to get a product demo ready. While our engineers fix the critical bugs, our marketing team creates and curates the content for SEO & media platforms. This lean Team is geographically and demographically so diverse that each one is in a different time zone and has a different lifestyle, yet they still figure out a way to coordinate and get work done. You may call 'em workaholics, but they are the rockstars of our Team.

Cross-Trained

The position I offered doesn't necessarily require them to adapt to any role, but they always are willing to wear multiple hats. Be it lead generation, customer acquisition, data or marketing analysis, or even recruitment – this Team does it all. Today our engineers are fully cross-trained from frontend to backend but what's even cooler is while one engineer helps us with hiring, the other writes tech blogs for SEO, and our marketing manager frequently puts up a product management hat. This is a highly productive and cross-functional team that sure helps our startup grow.

Deadline Driven

We set a deadline for everything, and the Team religiously abide by it. The Team is heavily motivated and keeps marching forward until they complete a job and achieve the expected results within the committed timelines. Recently, one engineer was covid impacted and was hospitalized, yet out of his own will, he coordinated with another team member to get things going. How insane is that !!

Team Cohesion

While the product looks fancy, everything underneath it is quite challenging and not a straightforward path to accomplishing them. Sometimes we are clueless about solving something. This can be demotivating or even drives us crazy. But we share complaints together, laugh together, and chill together. This team spirit of ours detoxifies stress and rejuvenates to bounce back.

Accountability

With additional responsibility comes the additional risks. In such a fast-moving environment, failures are likely to happen. This Team has a high chance of heavy frowning from their leadership team, holding them accountable for their mistakes. This Team accepts responsibility for their actions and takes full ownership to outshine.

These top-notch characteristics and superior skills that are ingrained in every individual of the Team with a unified vision to build this startup make this a real CRACK Team with real expertise and I am confident that together we will succeed.
